Renea Porter is best known for writing realistic stories with realistic characters. Her stories may even cause you to shed a tear or two.
She mainly writes New Adult and Contemporary Romances. However, she's not afraid to venture into other genres like Paranormal Romance.
She enjoys spending time with her husband of over 20 years, and step son. She calls Pennsylvania home, but loves to travel and try new things. In her free time, you can catch her reading books, watching reality tv, and baking.

What was the first story you ever wrote?
(Unpublished or published)
It was a military
romance/second chance romance. And it was in my head for two years before I
even wrote it out.

Why did you want to become an author? I absolutely love to
write and create characters and stories I would want to read.

What is your favorite treat when you are
writing? Chocolate candy

Do you have any writing rituals you do to get in
the mood? Definitely
music.

Is there any type of scenes you shy away from
writing about? Not really.

What is a genre you don’t currently write but
would like to try? Probably reverse harem

What is the most difficult hurdle you’ve had to
get over while writing so far? Just getting in the
right mindset and actually writing.

What is your dream for your book? (Ie: movie, in
big box stores, etc) definitely a movie. Id be thrilled
to have it on Netflix.

What is your favorite coffee/or tea? Tea

A fire alarm goes off in your home. What are the
first 5 things you grab? Hubs, laptop, phone, clothes
if I can, and my kid.

use a spoon or fork to eat macaroni and cheese? Fork

listening to? On My Block on Netflix

What do you think is the perfect girls night
out? Dinner, Drinks and going out to dance. Or even
dinner, movie then someones house to drink.

When you were little what was your favorite toy
that you took everywhere? Oddly enough, a book.

What is something your readers don’t know about
you? There are two things: I wear hearing aids. And I
collect lighthouses.

Who is your favorite all time author? Do you own any of their books? Anna Todd, I have several of
hers, but Im still collecting her After series.

If you could interview anyone in the world who
would you choose? And Why? Probably Elvis Presley just
because he was so interesting back in the day. And I know the times were a lot
different back then too.
