Mystery Romance Author Renee Pellegrino

Renee Pellegrino

“I remember once someone told me that in order to write, you must have the ability to tell a story.”
Renee’s storytelling days started long ago at church, and the priest asked the class, “Does anyone have a story to tell me.”

It was the moment she told the entire congregation about her baby brother and he must have come from whales.

A love for books became second after Maureen Taylor passed her Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot— and she read the Stand in twenty-four hours, so her love for horror novels was first. The same friend handed her a romance novel, and she does not remember the name, but then she purchased A Knight in Shining Armor. She developed a love for happy endings.

One summer night she went to bed and had a dream about going back to the Dark Ages. When she woke up the next day, it compelled her to tell the story of Athlena.

Currently living in Altoona, Pennsylvania (should be one of the strangest towns, where there are bars and churches at every corner.) With three German Shepherds, Rey, August, and Sofia.
